Dazzle Your Guests & Delight Your Waistline w/ Easter Spa Cocktails

Easter makes me think of candy colors and soft creamy drinks. That’s why these cocktails are our favorites for Easter. BUT, while we love the froth, we don’t like the calories, so we’ve created our own Spa versions!

First, the glasses! For a pretty and fun table we love these Dancing Cocktail Glasses by Zwiesel Kristallglas. Imagine how posh our pastel pampered drinks will be lined up in these!

In keeping with our Bunnies out, Grasshopper In! Easter decor theme this year – how could we leave out this one? We’ve altered Dine and Dish’s version by subbing ice cream w/ skim milk and frozen yogurt.

1/2 c skim milk
1/2 c vanilla frozen yogurt
3 shots of Creme de Menthe liquor
1 shot of Creme de Cacao liquor
1 shot of Irish Whiskey

Place all ingredients in a blender. Once well blended you can either serve or place back in the freezer to re-freeze. If desired, top with whipped cream. (Adjust liquor to taste. For a darker green and stronger mint flavor, add more Creme de Menthe)

Pink Squirrel

This retro cocktail has always been a fave of mine – it’s the creme de noyaux yum! We’ve slimmed this one down by subbing fresh cream with whole milk.

¾ oz crème de noyaux
¾ oz crème de cacao
½ oz vodka
1 oz whole milk

Pour all over ice in mixing glass. Stir and serve.

Ramos Gin Fizz

The Ramos Gin Fizz was first served in 1888 by one of the two Ramos bothers, Henry C., in the bar of Meyer’s Restaurant in New Orleans. With its frothy, foamed egg white and cream, the cocktail reminds one of a milkshake. We’ve thinned it out by subbing the cream and sugar!

3 cl lemon juice
1-2 cl agave syrup
2 cl whole milk
1 egg white
bar spoon of powdered sugar
a few drops of orange blossom water
Shake vigorously in a shaker with ice cubes and strain into a long drink tumbler. Top up with soda and sprinkle with orange blossom water.

“Spa” Godiva White Chocolate Egg Cream

This soda fountain stand by grows up with the substitution of chocolate syrup with Godiva liquer and slims down with skim milk!
Pour one part very cold skim milk, optionally froth with handheld Aerolatte-style frother or equivalent. Pour two or three parts seltzer from a just-opened bottle, add a quarter to half-inch Godiva White Chocolate Liquer, and froth just a second or two at the very bottom to mix, preserving distinct layers.
