“To do a common thing uncommonly well brings success” HJ Heinz
Tomorrow is Boss’ Day so our Spa Flick features a boss extraordinaire. If there was ever such a thing as a SpaBoss, HJ Heinz who concocted America’s favorite condiment, ketchup, was it. Channel surfing I fell into The Ketchup Kings documentary of him on The Biography Channel. As an entrepreneur myself, I was immediately captivated.
Imagine my amazement, when in describing how Heinz coddled his employees in an almost familial way, I learned that he had onsite fitness and spa facilities for all of his staff! Wow! If they had Boss’ Day back then, he would have been crowned king! Go HJ!
You can watch the movie free in it’s entirety on Biography’s website.
Feel Good Factor: If you’re feeling blue or worried that you can’t overcome some obstacle, watch The Ketchup Kings. You will be inspired to give the hurdles the heave ho!
Ketchup is not only our french fry friend, it’s also a hair helper. If your hair has taken on a green tinge due to swimming in chlorinated water, or a color mishap, ketchup will fix it! All you do is put ketchup on dry hair, leave 30 mins. then shampoo, condition and style! Tip: Use the squeeze bottles for easier application.
